I found your site researching Christian Mysticism for my theo studies AND I LOVE IT!
I have always had problems with my experience of God and the church's presentation of Him,- great to see an informed, scriptually resourced argument against traditional sometimes life destroying doctrine. As an artist and writer I try to describe the nature (no pun intended) of God through his creation, Celtic Christianity does this without thinking,
So i too love St Patricks's Breastplate Prayer. Thank you for your creativity.

this really has nothing to do with your marathon post; i am just pressed for time right now with a 2 yo running around and a sick 7 yo home from school so i can't dig for your email.

but i wanted to tell you (1) thanks for your encouragement on ryan's site about reading eckhart tolle (or not reading it); (2) thanks for taking time to read and leave a comment on my blog; and (3) we talked (for about 10 minutes) about moving to your hood and starting a church. then we realized we don't know anyone in that area and plus we don't really know if we want to start another church. :) but from what we could tell your neighborhood looks awesome!

have a great day!

YES!! Go, Jon, Go !! You can do it, I believe in you (and myself). *Sends legions of plotideas your way*

I've officially gone mad, I'm going to attempt two novels. One of them 50K, don't know yet how long the other will be. I hadn't planned this at all, but somebody decided to write about a period in Dutch history I'm specialized in. She doesn't read Dutch (let alone 16th century Dutch), I offered to help her with research and while I was researching this great big plotbunny came hoping into my room and it refuses to go away. The first novel is based on a Flemish legend, the second is about the siege of Haarlem.

Happy writing!
