Pride

I’ve often written about the illusoriness of the thing called country.  Be that as it may, this morning I feel more proud of my country, and more proud to be an American, than I have in decades.

    Let me, European, be the first to congratulate you and the choice of the American people. Although there are some points of the new man in the White House I consider conservative from a European pov, this is the best news I’ve heard for a long time!
